happiness is a blind state of mind. people will see what they choose to see regardless of what is really there. behind all the smiles and the laughter is a dark abyss of rage. and that rage can no longer be contained, controlled, wished away. free will doesn't exist when you have no place to exercise it. if it takes a night of sinful indulges to make the dark seem like a nicer place, to acheive an illusional state of mind, then the desperate will become the damned. driven by desire and led by demons, the maiden will no longer be the virgin.
