I feel..

a girl

She was a girl of seventeen, sheltered by her innocence and controlled by every force but her own. All she wanted out of life was peace of mind. She wanted to find love. Running was something that she knew all too well, and she knew there would be a time when she couldn't run anymore; from others, from her fears, from her life, from herself.

She wanted to find a home.

She met a boy who showed her what it meant to live. He taught her to love and how to feel loved. He broke her out of her shell and freed her from her insanity.

But this boy also taught her how to hate herself and everything about her life. He destroyed her, and showed her how to destroy herself. A girl who was once so innocent became a plague upon herself.

And she still struggles to find love, to find her home.
